Happy Birthday Floral Stripes- A Color, Sketch and Theme Challenge :-)

Hi Again Stampers!

I wanted to share another card that I created yesterday using the CCMC344 Create with Connie and Mary Color Challenge along with the JAI252 Just Add Ink Sketch Challenge and the Around the World AW36 "Stripes" Challenge.

If you have not had a chance to visit the above sites yet, I hope you will find the time to do so- terrific inspiration from all!

To create this Clean and Layered (CAL) card:

Using Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the flower and leaves onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamp the sentiment using Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink.

Color the flower using the Blushing Bride and Rose Red Stampin’ Write markers and the leaves with the Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write marker. Carefully cut out (“fussy-cut”) the flower and the leaves.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Cut the embossed piece of cardstock on an angle for the sketch and mount onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

Adhere the angled piece to a piece of Moonlight Designer Series Paper (DSP) and trim the panel.

Mount onto a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock, trim the panel and mount onto the Blackberry Bliss card base.

Use the 2” Circle Punch to punch out a piece of Whisper White and Blackberry Bliss cardstock.  Cut the Blackberry Bliss circle in half and adhere behind the Whisper White circle.

Mount the layered circle onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals® and add the leaves and flower (also with Stampin’ Dimensionals®).

Create the banner for the sentiment with the Hexagon Punch and adhere to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals® to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets: Choose Happiness, Bloom with Hope

Ink: Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink, Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink;  Stampin’ Write Markers- Blushing Bride, Rose Red and Blackberry Bliss

Paper: Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride, Moonlight DSP

Accessories: Big Shot™, Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder, Punches- 2” and Hexagon

Thanks again for stopping by- I hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

Love this card....I bought a pack of black/white cardstock for masculine cards. This card certainly shows it makes for a beautiful feminine card as well. I'm planning to CASE this and hope you don't mind. TFS
